St. JOHNNY

je kapela hrající blues, R’n’R a boogie. Jan Stehlík (Plzeň, kytara, zpěv) založil kapelu v roce 2005, inspirován svými cestami po USA. Jeho syrový pěvecký projev, texty ze života a energická rytmika (Pavel Plánka – bicí, Zdeněk „Wimpy“ Tichota – basa) tvoří vysoce chytlavou směs. St. JOHNNY vystoupil v roli předskokana bluesových legend Charlieho Musellwhitea, Lurrieho Bella, Paula Lamba, Any Popovic a dalších. V repertoáru převažuje vlastní tvorba. Kapela vystupuje doma i v zahraničí.

To date, “St. JOHNNY” is one of the leading blues and R’n’R bands in the Czech Republic. The origin of the band comes from St. JOHNNY’s travels in the U.S., where he fell in love with the blues. The raw tember of St. JOHNNY’s voice, authentic lyrics based on St. JOHNNY’s life and energic rthythm section supporting St. JOHNNY’s guitar will never let you down. The band has opened for a blues greats such as Lurrie Bell, Charlie Musellwhite, Paul Lamb, Gwyn Ashton, Ana Popovic and others. You can see the band on club stages and festivals in Bohemia and abroad.
